Built in 2005, this family-run guest house is set in a unique natural environment located on the east coast of Lake Myvatn. Traditional Icelandic breakfast is served in the Vogafjos cowshed-cafe, 3 minutes walk from Vogafjos-Guesthouse. Breakfast is enjoyed while watching the cows being milked and guests can even taste the fresh milk. Geyser bread is a hot spring bread baked in the underground bakery using geothermal heat and traditional methods; a Myvatn speciality. Here guests can also purchase the local products. Myvatn Nature Bath is only 6 km away, a natural bathing place and steambath. Myvatn is renowned for its abundance many species of wild bird life.
